Dear Players

After several months of hard work, we’re ready and proud to finally announce the Yatzy Dice Clash 2.0 update which should be released in a few weeks. The update focuses on network stability and connection issues, optimization, new visuals and new content.

There’s so much going on in this new version. Below are the highlights of the update:

A COMPLETELY REWORKED BACKGROUND

New Network Code

The connection problems experienced by part of our playerbase should become a thing of the past. We developed a completely new network code to address this pressing issue. The players will now be able to play in a stable gameplay environment free of connection problems.

Performance optimization

The game has been optimized across the board. This should result in much better overall performance and faster loading times, especially on low end phones.

Asset bundles:

The new update has new asset bundles, allowing for a lower initial download size. In terms of resolution, the graphics assets will be downloaded based on the user’s phone, as opposed to downloading assets in multiple resolutions as was done before. This will result in crisp looking games on high end phones, and lighter and faster working games on low end phones.

In addition, the new background will allow us to produce new features and updates on a more frequent basis – so stay tuned, because we have many new features that we can’t wait to put in your hands.

ALL-NEW GAMEPLAY VISUALS

In Yatzy Dice Clash, one of the main features of the game are the various tours. For a long time we felt that they needed a little bit more flavour. Therefore, we decided to do something exciting with them - we focused on designing the playing boards for every tour, which will help capture their essence. We bet that you’re going to love them!

NEW LUCKY CHARMS

Another important feature of Yatzy Dice Clash are the Lucky Charms. Version 2.0 will present several new Charms, starting from the India and UK tours.

CHARM UPGRADE COST DECREASE

In terms of upgrading the Lucky Charms, we are significantly reducing the number of copies which are required to upgrade a Charm for levels 6 through 11. This will apply to all of the Charm rarities. The levels 1 through 5 will remain unaffected by this change.
